01 / ACCESS & OPPORTUNITY

DyslexAI

Founder & disability advocate

Experience became a mission.

Cally’s own experience with dyslexia and other learning differences shaped a question: how can more students get the tools that help them learn?

She founded DyslexAI to share practical ways AI can support students with learning differences. Through student workshops, community service, and advocacy, she works to expand access while keeping students’ ideas and effort at the center.

02 / FROM AN IDEA TO PUBLIC POLICY

Legislative initiative

AI as assistive technology

Cally’s work through DyslexAI led her to pursue a broader change: expanding access to AI-based assistive technology for students with disabilities.

She initiated the idea, brought it to Maryland lawmakers, and has worked with Delegate Aaron Kaufman to advance the initiative. Her work continues toward the next Maryland legislative session.
